In a small ion battles, i pull the damaged ion back, take it outta the group, repair it w/ a repair coll (since ru isn't the main concern when fighting ion for ion in a tight battle, plus repair colls work fast on frigs too), and once its repaired put it back in the group. In large ion battles, ions typically go poof before you can pull them back much.

u repair? i never seen people repair... kinda cool if people did by pulling damaged and send it to hospital and back in circulation :lol: but i wonder if they let that ion live though.

the only odd moment when i saw someone do col repair was about a few years ago, on terah (lol) someone sent me a marine with a repair col! and... capped it =p wonderful...

lol, thats awesum!
Lets see frig has 20k hull and coll only has 2k (3k-4k upgrades) hull so it could be helpfull if you reallllly need to capture a target and don't mind wasting ru.

Those collecters would be better off harvesting then repairing in my opinion.

yeah, if a single col can build up a dd...besides dd needs to use those precious missiles on cols or the marine will never die, but that is without any support. but for angle dd... 2 marines, 2 cols... pwnage! lol (but if cols survive before marines attach..., maybe cloak marine/col combo :lol: )

This totally depends I usually only use it for strike craft.

If im going emp vaygr then

1-2 scouts
2-2 scouts
3-4 scouts
*4-5 AC
5-5 AC
**4-4 scouts
5-6 scouts
6- res patch 1
7- res patch 2
8- res patch 3
9- all vettes
0- all cap ships

if im in a 1v1 hiig then

1-6 inties
2-8 inties
3- res patch 1
4- res patch 2
9- any scouts
0- all capships


if im hypertorping with hiig

1-2 torps
2-2 torps
3-2 torps
4-2 torps
5-2 torps
6- res patch 1
7- res patch 2
8- res patch 3
9- any scouts
0- all capships


But then again I change all this on the fly in a game once im done with hypertorping I usually remove number assignments on 1-5
