Not so much hidden as completely pointless.

BC research as Vaygr takes 40~ Seconds with maximum 25 Research Mods.

If my math is correct, then :

[time to research] = [base research time] / (([number of res mods] + 1) ^ 0.5)

In case there are some people in here that didn't take enough math, if you raise a number to the power of 0.5, it's the same as taking a square root of that number.

Basically if you have no res mods due to a res pass, you will research about 30% slower. If you have two res mods you'll research about 25% faster, and if you have 3 you'll research 43% faster.
Also i'm not sure if the # of adv mods affects res time - or if it does by how much.

It's pretty easy if you take computer programming languages.


Advanced res mod is just another res mod, it does speed up research the same as regular res mods.
