| Post subject: | Passing production ships between mixed races |
What are the limitations? Back in my early newbie days (like 4 days ago) i was passed a vag cc as hig with no mods and i could build no mods on it. If it had a fighter mod would i have been able to build Acs out of it? And if so i have a range of other question about that, like are the fighter limits the same. |

There is only one limitation to passing production ships of another race - you can't build any ships from those production ships. Other than that the mods on those ships can be used same way as if they were yours - you can use them for researching, hyperspacing, cloaking, etc. Also, I believe Vaygr can't retire mods on Hiigaran ships that were passed, not sure if the opposite works yet. |

i sold mods on vaygr fs when i capped being hig. but im not sure the definate answer as well, but i couldnt sell hig bc mods while being vay. |
