I've also had that experience. I killed a BC forget what map it was on, but it spun like a top when it blew up, I was like holy shit. It's almost like in HW1 if you tried to kill debris from the Scaffold on mission 3. It just span and span like crazy.

Large ships acted like that in Cataclysm. A fun thing to do was just as the enemy CS (command ship[ms]) was dieing fire the dreads repulsar cannon. The parts of the cs would scatter like blowing dust off a table. sounds like in the case of ions pulling units that when the bigger ones die they lose all mass and just move in that direction real fast.

ion beams do have negative force associated with it (says the data sheet), so it's natural, but the amount of pull just differs alot from time to time, it can even make sy spin around by a chance...

A few more bugs to add.

In cb, specifically at pos 4, and not pos 3, the cols do get stuck, more possibility for vaygr imo if you have like 8 cols on the cc patch. the main patch seems to be safe from the bug, but maybe 1 in 3 games, with vaygr at pos 4, on the cc patch, a few cols do get stuck between the rocks. so, if you're playing vaygr at that pos, if you think ru is somehow low, or before you think it is low, check for the cols.

And another is, if you queue multiple ships of a same type and sneak in another build queue in between, when that build of 1 ship finishes, sometimes the next queue freezes, until you descrease the amount of the queue down to 1 on that particular ship type. (For example, you got 5 ion frig in queue, sneak a col by pushing the next 4 ion in the back, so it'll be 1 ion, 1 col, 4 ion queue and after the col is built, ion might not start building, but not totally exactly sure on the condition.) It's quite annoying seeing the build get frozen even if it's not paused. I sometimes, just intentionally lower the build queue down to 1, when it might happen.
