This strat is mainly intended for having Vaygr in team, and doesn't specifically have to be in crimson bond either.

In short, Hig player will start giving out cols to Vaygr player. Which means, that since Hig cols are better at harvesting (which is obvious through game stats when both Hig/Vay having same amount of cols, Hig always harvest more), Vaygr's lack of good harvesting capability will be circumvented, thus making Vaygr even better.

In example of a crimson bond game, When Vaygr is placed at pos 2 (right front), by just making 2 cols and a mobile ref on primary patch, and recieving the rest of cols from Hig player, Vay can start building ships substantially faster for very fast attack including Emp and quickly occupying the middle patch for other team player to use as well.

If Vaygr maxes cols with 12 cols of Hig's, Vaygr can probably even hold quad pump as well as BC build, which is simply so much build for a single person. But do be warned that the Hig passing col will be nearly like a spectator for over first 10 minutes of the game, since the player only will have option to just keep pumping col without any extra ru for anything else. So, a good player should be chosen for Vaygr, so he can pump a lot of ships and handle them well for fast attack.

Also, fast attacking in big map like crimson bond isn't always the best choice, since it takes time to move up and other side can get quite ready, it is not the best idea to just start moving in, unless other side isn't ready for fast attack. It should work quite good in small map, where the col transfered team can get Emp much faster than other side and can probably dominate by early swarms. In bigger maps, it is still effective, if Vaygr sits back and starts massing fighters/vettes or hmf, since staying in back is already advantageous as Vaygr gets more and more ru than default Vaygr cols as time passes, and Vaygr player can make more ships than usual Vaygr player can build.

It's not a fixed strat, but should be used in places where necessary, and Vaygr player must be smart on how to use the advantage but not always rush in.

i've done a funny variation of this in kharam wreck with sky in past against baps :lol:

i went vaygr and recieves some cols from sky, goes straight vettes no lag, later on pump an extra cc iirc, then start harassing their cols fast with probably emp help as well. but the hig will be so slow, you have to do it right, or hig will just get owned fast.

the best part about using it on kharam wreck is, other guy can't come help fast enough as you're closer to the victim (usually).
