Here is one you guys missed. 2BitTLSC, later and briefly GunslingerTFL. He is the first person I saw use the hyper cap strat. He introduced the idea to me and I thought...FUN! We did it to ECC clan repeatedly afterwards and they would ALWAYS scream about cheat! The two ECC I speak of were Cpt Jack and TomTerror.

I wonder if someone did it before we started doing it and when I say we I mean his idea and I was along for the ride.

I agree, spill the secrets. It's kinda selfish and what's the point? The more secrets are spilled the better people get and that's good for everyone. More skilleds and more fun.

Hypercap was born on CB, first tried twice on 2 cpus, then used in an "official" 2v2 team matchup on CB with 2 observers which(interestingly enough) failed to notice both capital ships jumping in early under cloak. So the strat was used very successfully for a while in other team games until enough people figured out what was going on(after which a twist was applied by yet another player and hyperplat came around).

Thanks for the correction CPU1, I'm sure I've had it in my mind that that was MVBr, probably the adv. frig thing getting me confuzzled, but tbh I've never been one to keep names straight :D
